Homeopathy & Allergy Testing

homeopathy allergy testing

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine based on the principle of ‘like cures like’ and has been in use since the late 1700’s. It is also very popular with members of the royal family, athletes and sports people in particular as there is no physical trace of the original substance in the majority of the medicines used. It is increasingly popular in India where the President, Sri Pranab Mukherjee wants the first line medicine to be homeopathy due to its’ effectiveness & cost to provide.
Medicines are prescribed in dilute substances, which given to a healthy person in their natural state would produce symptoms similar to those of the person to be treated.
 Is it safe?
Remedies can be prescribed for babies, children, adults and pregnant women. You can take them alongside any prescribed medication. Homeopathic remedies are non-habit forming and non- toxic.

How does it work?
The ability to heal yourself exists throughout your whole body, but there are many occasions when your body needs help to do this. Homeopathic remedies can help stimulate your own resources to restore health.
Whether your problem is physical or of a more emotional nature, homeopathy looks to address the cause and not just the symptoms you are experiencing now.

Allergy Testing
Allergy testing is carried out using a kinesiology method of muscle testing. This method does not involve any blood tests and is therefore completely safe to do in a clinic environment.
Your results are obtained on the day and you are given a report of all the items that were identified in the test that day.
Appointments are up to 2 hours in duration as the first part of the session involves taking a detailed history of your health and finding out all about your health problems. After this the allergy test is done & the report written up.
Usually at this point an individual health plan is devised and this could comprise of desensitising remedies, supplements, or homeopathic remedies as well as advice on how to incorporate the findings of your test into daily life.

Follow up appointments are available if required and usually would take place 4-6 weeks after the initial test.
